dos anyone think that people would give to a found raiser only supporting one person?

i am going to a world leadership program(i get acedemic credit), and i need money for the tuition and air travel. I wanted to bake sales,yard work, craft sales, maid services(my friends and family volentered ) and much more. do you really think pople will give to the found raisers?
